This is a song I wrote for my future wife (wherever she might be). I've actually never truly been in love before so this is the closest I've ever written to a "love song". I call it a "promise-to-love song".
lyrics
"BUT I WILL, EVERYDAY"
One of us was waiting around for no one else
And I've had enough...
Well, I guess for now...
With a brick on the balance, but too little to weigh a reason down
I've got a lot to figure out, so it seems
But I'll love you, and you and you alone
I won't have to tell you what you'd already know
But I will, everyday
We just have to find a way to meet each other
So much for wasted time, and all of the drinking alone
Buying the bullets without a gun
I want the feelings, I want a part in your life
I want to pair your hand, your hand with mine
and I want to love you, and you and you alone
I won't have to tell you what you already know
But you know I will, everyday
We just have to find our way to meet each other
