THE SILENT MOTTO

1.
AFTER THE FALL No more room for messing around Shift your weight now off the thinning ice Lest you have an accident Big enough to break you in a fight Though I’d like to see you try Get out while you have a chance Get out while you can Wait... this doesn’t mean that you are giving up the call The way it works sometimes Before the rise you will know the fall There you go testing your faith The Lord giveth and taketh away and now You’re waiting cuz you’re stubborn Beyond a shadow of a doubt Boy I’d like to knock you out Before you bring harm to yourself And everybody else Wait... now I know in part, then you shall know it all The way it works in life In the grand design we all need to fall Pull yourself together or else You’ll regret it all by yourself And I won’t be around to call you out Boy you better shut your mouth You try, you fail, you gain it after the fall You gain it all after the fall

The Comeback 03:30
THE COMEBACK What’s going on? You don’t seem like yourself Maybe you just need to get out If you’re sick of the rain Maybe take a trip to LA It might take time, bet you’re gonna make it out alive Think of all time you put in To be where you are When you make it this far (be careful) That’s when it all seems to fall apart I guess I’m not surprised, it feels like it’s automatic But you gotta give me some kind of sign That you’re doing alright Just say you’re alive I get your point of view But maybe lose the attitude Move it to the passenger side You’re stuck in a rut You can’t take the heat Alone at the bar A skip skip in the beat That’s how it all seems to fall apart Do you really need the follow the rest You really should get out while you can As a matter of fact We’re all waiting for a comeback But we understand the move to resign The state of the world Nickel and dimed The kid stuck on a screen A clear sign of the times I’ll be at the bar if you need me You know the rest That’s how it all seems to fall apart

LAZY AFTERNOONS Everything feels just about right, There’s nothing left to do but wait and see You and I both need these lazy afternoons every now and then Cuz life can break us down sometimes So to save us from ourselves Don’t forget to breathe Can’t you see when times are tough Your thoughts and prayers are not enough You don’t have to have any answers for me You don’t have to say anything But I just need you here by my side It feels right to have your company It sucks to see you leave So don’t leave me to answer alone And I just need you here by my side For more than tea & sympathy More than fancy words Everything feels just about right, There’s nothing left to do but wait and see

LOVE LIKE A DOWN Somebody told me that love was a lot like a down How you feel when doing nothing while standing around As you wait for someone to relate, till it takes you away Before you knew it came and your off
To follow some rules you don't understand You're still a little confused on how to feel
There was a time that I thought love was blind Till it opened my eyes, and I saw I knew nothing But don't take offense, it's not meant to make sense Often that's how it goes and yet nobody knows how to stop
Or where it might end, and could this be love? Would we try try again to no avail
Somebody told me a lie To be fair no one knew at the time For a word undefined it's not worth to break ties So a part of you is still is a part of me
There's nothing to gain but addiction to pain When surrounded by walls all your thoughts will betray you The longer you stay the greater the weight and the harder the fall I hope that you find your way out
Do I have your attention? You don't need to know but you have to believe In a world unattended we look for the answers and ask the wrong questions, and we are all wrong yet we are all right
Somebody told you a lie To be fair no one knew at the time For a word undefined it's not worth to break ties and a part of you is still is a part of me

I DON’T SEE THE POINT Unless you know another way that I don't Then I don't see the point I don't mind if you leave first I’ll wait and follow right behind To separate ways we go to start our new lives It’s part your fault and part my own, not one We cannot cast a stone I don't know, I can't be sure But I think I might die alone But you don't know what you had until It slips right through your hands Who will carry the weight of all I am When you're gone? The last to leave decides the epitaph However hard to say the words Can it be undone? Can I make it right for once? I would sell it all to pay the cost But what if I was dead wrong? You don't know what you had until It slips right through your hands Who will carry the weight of all I am When you're gone? So pick a lane and I'll go the opposite way I'll stay away from the places you love to be I'll try my best to pretend that I'm moving on When you're gone You don't know what you had until It slips right through your hands Who will carry the weight of all I am When you're gone

about

Recorded this at home with a cheap mic and a heavy heart. These songs/recordings came from a pretty dark and desperate time in my life. Would have given up completely if it weren’t for loved ones that did not give up on me.

To anyone needing to seek help please reach out to someone, to anyone, to even me. I know how hard it is to ask.
