I was once a part of an auction where people bid on a lunch date with me. This one guy won because he felt bad that no one was bidding on me. True story, haha. He didn't really want the lunch-date so he asked me if I could write him a song for his wife. This is the song I wrote for him for her. Never got a response on whether or not they liked it, but here it is. I hope you like it :)
lyrics
YOU MAKE ME SMILE
I know some find it - hard to believe it
That someone like me is with you
Stars were aligned in the right place and time
When I saw you that afternoon
And I'm like them, I am in agreement
I'm lucky to be with someone like you
You are wonderful
You are, you are
You make me smile
Some are afraid of, that they are unable to
Find what I have with you
I was like that, now I'm a believer
Now I believe dreams can come true
Just so you know it, and never forget it
You mean the world to me
